One of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in south east Asia. So many showers and toilets, so you never have to wait. The beds are also super comfortable. The staff was really friendly and had so many recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Everyone was really helpful and professional.

AeCOTEL Mingle Hostel is located in Sandakan. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The staff was really nice and helpful!!The room was comfy and clean as for the kitchen and the bathroom.We had all amenities needed (cooking,washing machine).

Staff is the best, super friendly helpful and always there if you need anything. They very thoughtful even remember my friend birthday and brought her a cake with candle. That was very sweet. Breakfast is served all day. The best stay in KK! so good we are gonna head back soon.

The person in charge is very friendly and helpful, you could message him on what’s app and get quick response and help. We stayed at this hostel for 5 nights in Kuching. The Air con works very well and room is fully equipped with shared washing machine and dryer machine, freezer, kitchen facilities，etc. You can refill your bottle in water dispenser. The main advantage of this hostel is close to the waterfront. It means you can walk to everywhere in downtown without grab.

Capsule Inn is located in Kota Kinabalu, 4.7 km from North Borneo Railway and 6.4 km from Likas City Mosque. First time in Capsule but only good experience. Center in city good coffee and breakfast and helpfull maid ! Thank you very much everything and see you next time!

Located in Kota Kinabalu, 400 metres from Filipino Market Sabah, Escape Backpackers KK provides air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. Great place to stay in KK, excellent value for money in Borneo! Breakfast was amazing, and different everyday (noodles and toasts on day 1, rice, pancakes ❤️, and toasts on day 2) Bed was comfy with privacy curtains, a light and an outlet, AC was working well, there is space to hang your towel and clothes, and the room was big Nice common area (though a bit small maybe, but you do what you can with the space you have) Toilets were separate from the showers (rare in Asia, so that was really nice!) The owner was super nice, friendly and helpful! I missed my bus so I arrived a day later and I was able to change the days of my booking even though it was non refundable, so thank you so much for that!!

Miniinn Guest House features free WiFi throughout the property and rooms with air conditioning in Bandar Seri Begawan. I had a lovely stay! The bed was so relaxing to sleep to and room was well kept, the staff was also very friendly and accommodating.
