Featuring a roof terrace with views of the hills surrounding Guanajuato, Hostal Casa de Dante is an Adult Only Hostel just a 15-minute walk from the historic city centre. Very well decorated in Mexican and Indigenous style with tidbits of history and Mexican dichos written with style. The staff was incredible and Irene is a major source of stories related to Mexican history and traditions. The breakfast was different every day made up of fresh, nutritious and traditional Mexican dishes. I loved the place!

The staff were so nice and beds are very clean and comfortable. It’s walkable from the bus terminal. You need to take a bus to get to Centro but it wasn’t a big problem. Breakfast is offered.

La Catrina Hostel se găsește în San Miguel de Allende, la aproximativ 9 minute de mers pe jos de Biserica Arhanghelul Sf. We had a clean and spacious room. Shower had good water pressure. The hostel had a nice terrace to chill and hangout too. WiFi was decent even up there. Location was pretty decent - it was a comfortable walk to the main plaza, where most of the restaurants/eateries congregate around. For some cheap local food, we can recommend the gorditas and tamales from "Gorditas Doña Consuelo" (see Google Maps), which is a food stand that opens in the evenings. There is a complimentary breakfast that comes with our stay, but don't expect much, i.e. two pieces of toasted bread and jam, and a small plate of fruits. For those who need a more substantial breakfast, you can order additional dishes (e.g. chilaquiles) for a reasonable price, e.g. 60-70 MXN if I recall correctly.

Really clean and comfortable stay in Casa Lupita. The rooms are really big so even though there are no curtains it still feels pretty private. Great area or the city, everything is just a small walk. Very good clothes washing services available. Good kitchen and common area facilities. You can also buy eggs and bananas for 5 pesos each which is handy if you get hungry and want to cook. There is also an amazing taco stand a little bit outside in the evening which is open till late. And the most beautiful part is that the callejoneadas always pass by the hostel in the evening so it is great to sit outside on the terrace and get a bit of the show every night.

Lool Beh Hostal offers accommodation in San Miguel de Allende. We have private parking subject to availability. Free WiFi is available in all areas. There are shared dormitories and private rooms. The owners were lovely and so were their dogs! The rooms have clearly been renovated recently and are great. Good kitchen and common area as well. Great value for money

Casa Bertha is situated in the historic centre of Guanajuato, and has a communal terrace with wonderful city views. Great location .... It's basic and old style but it has everything you need .... The terrace is really cool with amazing view ... I could arrange the taxi with them

El Jazmin de Zanya is located in the historic centre of Dolores Hidalgo, just 450 metres from the Casa Hidalgo Museum. It offers a garden and rooms with views of the town. A beautiful place to lay your head. Very friendly, clean and in a good location 😊

The view from the rooftop was AMAZING! I love working there! The dorm beds are comfy and the dorm rooms are spacious and nicely arranged. There was natural light everywhere. The location was right at a small plaza and the vibe was chill. The wifi was pretty good even for online teaching on Zoom. The water pressure was good.

Hostel Inn is located in San Miguel de Allende, just 10 minutes’ walk from the city centre. It offers a 24-hour reception and a charming garden and terrace. We booked beds in a dorm but they made a mistake and upgraded us in a private room, very fare. It's quiet. Free drinking water.
