Hive Ella was a perfect intimate social hostel right in the heart of Ella, but far enough off the main street that you still feel like you’re in nature. Gihan the manager does an incredible job at creating a social environment by organising family dinners, cooking classes, bon fires, or dinners together in town! He was always helping everyone organise activities for the day by arranging shared tuk tuks or scootys. The hostel is very clean, and the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast served with fruit was delicious! The food cooked by the staff for family dinners (and the guests) was incredibly flavourful. The private room was spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend Hive Ella!

The staff were warm and welcoming. I prefer it to other hostels as I shared a small room with only three other people. This was preferable as larger dorms mean more evening disturbances to sleep

Noname Hostel And Cafe features free bikes, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Ella. Met all my expectations. It is right at the base of little Adam’s peak and nine arch bridges trail. The upstairs hangout space was calm and cool and the coconut pancakes at breakfast were delicious!

The view from the rooftop area is amazing.

The hostel was very spacious, and I was there alone. I extended my stay because the internet was the fastest in Sri Lanka. It was calm and quiet, and the breakfast was delicious.
