This was preferable as larger dorms mean more evening disturbances to sleep

The place is too close to the train station and the city center. It's close to go by walking to little adams peak and the bridge, and many waterfalls by bus. The hostel itself is amazing, the dormitory is clean, with comfortable and clean bed and blanket. Bathroom is clean and good as well, with hot water. The hosts are such nice ppl, gave me lots of tips and could have nice conversations as well. The breakfast is simply amazing, the best I had since I started traveling, for an awesome price and huge amount of good food, really worths. If I come back to ella, would definitely go there again.

Cleanest and newest place I stayed in all of Sri Lanka. It actually had a RAIN SHOWER and is in a great location - not on the Main Street but close enough that it’s super convenient yet not too loud.

Great place, I stayed for 5 nights in total. Amazing view from the main area.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, The 1964 Holiday bungalow is set in Ella in the Badulla District Region, 1.6 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Very nice accommodation and beautiful view! Breakfast and Lunch is very delicious and super huge portion!People who run the place are super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this Accommodation

I highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Ella. The hosts are very kind and helped me decide on the best activities to do in the area. The hostel is new, very clean, and everything, including the shower, is great. The beds are very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was fantastic, and they have a great bar and pizza restaurant on-site, offering cold beers and delicious pizzas at very reasonable prices—a perfect spot to relax. The location is excellent, just a 5-10 minute walk from Ella's center, with the Nine Arches Bridge nearby. All in all, a great value for the price!

We stayed in the dormitory, the place was super clean, each bed had a locker with own key which I really appreciated, breakfast was satisfying. The staff was great, especially a guy named Shiva, he was really kind, always offering tea/coffee and asking if we needed anything. This made our stay much better!

Agit is an amazing host. Super helpful and available for any question. He has been really elastic with check in and check out. Gave me tips on how and when to climb Ella Rock. The view from the room is just breathtaking. Just a few minutes by bike to Ella. Perfect place to chill and embrace nature with a bit of comfort. Will definitely come back.
