Kataragama
The units at the hostel are fitted with a seating area. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower, while some rooms at Funky Leopard Safari Lodge Bordering Yala National Park also boast a balcony. The rooms have bed linen. We had a wonderful peaceful stay at the Funky Lepord. The staff worked between here and a neighbouring campsite. They were very welcoming and helpful. Special shout out to Santos who went above and beyond to make us comfortable.
Dematapelessa

This is very good place, calm and staff were very good. Foods also exceptional. Very good for family, children & any one. Safety also very good.
Great location, clean enough, when we arrived the markets were on across the road which was great. Host was very nice and helpful. Maybe not for everyone but you get what you pay for and we were happy overall.
Our stay was great! The room was clean and comfortable, with good air con. The staff were so helpful and friendly, arranging a morning safari for us at a great price with a breakfast bag included too. Great location near to the national park, would highly recommend!

Thanks to our host Prasad ! Organized safari, transport to next place, took us to see local landscape etc. The place itself (separate buiding) is just enough away from the highway at the small creek. Exactly the place to start safari in Yala (VI) . Thanamalwila also had the cheapest "Lion" on Lanka :)
Very friendly staff, great location
Their food was amazing. It's quite expressive. But It worth. Also Swimming Pool was amazing also. I never tried like that swimming pool in Kataragama. So I think as the best experience Sunflower Hotel is the best as a budget friendly hotel. Also I can't end this without mention the staff. Staff is very friendly. Reception boys, Restaurant Waiters, Security guy as a brothers to us.
