The best thing about the property is that it’s close to the main road, walkable from eating places, safe, wonderful host, Marsha the host was in touch with me even after I check out, she suggested a lot of places. They made me feel at home on the first day of my trip, it added a lot of jazz to my solo trip and such a warm welcome to receive when you land on a first day.

The rooms were very clean. Beds comfortable. The location is also good. The Negombo beach is 10-15 mins walking. The owner was very humble and nice. He even extended my stay for 3 hours without extra charges. Mohsin Bhai, the caretaker of the property was very helpful and polite.

First of all I like the cleanliness , second is the staff , David was so amazing , his hospitality I can’t explain marvelous , and his kindness, and the place which is so comfortable. Havelock City Hostel, located in Thimbirigasyaya, Colombo 05, provides ideal accommodation facilities for both Sri Lankan and foreign guests. Very nice and clean dorm, with AC. There is a small common kitchen, refrigerator, and the staff is very friendly

A hostel with a pool, that’s awesome. Great place to stay in the city of Colombo with superb assistance. Yanise is so kind and friendly. You can always count on her. We had only one breakfast out of 6 days stay as we went outside Colombo as well, for 3 days. Nice location and staffs. Will surely book the same hostel if given the chance. Cool room as well by the way. We’re group of six (friends) and they put us together in one room. Cheers.

Had a really nice stay, people were very nice and accommodating. Convenient location on walking distance from the dive centre.
