Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Good location, can see Mt. Fuji from room. Very clean, bed comfly, nice staffs. Delicious food.

The room we paid for had a Mt Fuji view and it was beautiful. Staff were very friendly offering advice and recommendations for activities and food. They even cater for Onigiri breakfast. The hostess was a very nice Japanese lady with excellent English. She even offered us free breakfast, which she made herself and was delicious. The rooms were in Japanese style, with probably one of the most comfy beds we ever slept in. The super clean toilet and bathroom were shared, but since there are only a few rooms, it was no issue for us. The internet speed was excellent.
