The owner was friendly and goes the extra mile to get to know his guests, and provide recommendations and suggestions accordingly. Being away from Toyama city center, one can get a glimpse of a quieter neighborhood, which is a big plus.

Travelers' house ROOTs is located in Takaoka, 47 km from Kanazawa Castle and 47 km from Kenrokuen Garden. Comfortable! Besides I got a thing that’s more than a stay thanks to the staff. We spent time for a nice chat.

Located in Nanto, 31 km from Kanazawa Castle, Guesthouse Kazura provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. You have your own space in the dormitory with tatami mats and it’s very close to a tattoo-friendly onsen, bus station and to a lake. The owner and the staff was friendly! There are not many people in the guesthouse, so it’s a really nice place to calm down.
