Great location, 2 mins walk from Asakusa station in a quiet alley and right by the Sumida river with good views. Overall good value for money. Bathrooms were clean and overall it’s a well maintained facility. Staff were lovely and had great chats with some of them.

Attractively set in the Nakano district of Tokyo, GrapeHouse Koenji is situated 500 metres from Keimei Park, less than 1 km from Yamato Park and a 8-minute walk from Mabashi Park. So clean, they clean everyday and it’s always spotless. The host is so lovely. Her dog is so cute and friendly too! Sometimes he’ll greet you at the door, this meant so much to me especially when I was missing my dog at home. The neighborhood is AMAZING. I love Koenji so much. A perfect, calm getaway from the city with still plenty of things to do. Great restaurants, thrifting, karaoke, parks, and Japanese vibes. Also Nakano is a 20 min walk away and they have a mall with Uniqlo and everything else you’d need. It’s easy to meet other people and make friends! Women-only was awesome and made me feel really safe. I can’t wait to go back and spend my entire Japan trip here. I shouldn’t have bothered with any other hotels. Nothing compares to Grapehouse Koenji!

Located in Tokyo, 300 metres from Kuramae Mizu no Yakata, Tokyo Hikari Guesthouse features views of the city. The owners here are amazing. They are super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. It feels like you are coming home rather than coming back to a guesthouse. The bed was the comfiest that I’ve ever slept in! Very clean as well. I appreciated the personal tour with stories about the owners’ children. The owners also live here, so they are always available if you need them. Great location with a direct line to Narita or Haneda airport.

Very friendly, clean and in a beautiful house with a great view of the river. Oh and 2 cats! Fully equipped kitchen for cooking and warm common room with a small bar.

Located in Niijimamura, 700 metres from Honson-Maehama Beach, Hostel NABLA provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This was probably the best hostel I stayed in. It was really clean, I had everything I needed at my disposal. The sleeping space was really well arranged with a little light, a space with a code to put your stuff safely. And the staff was really kind and helpfull ! Thank you for everything, I woule definitily recommend !
