This is an old hotel, run by a young couple. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it has lots of character. They have spacious tatami rooms, with air-conditioning, a must for Japanese summer. The lounge is very cosy, and you can purchase meals. We spent a lot of time hanging out in the lounge. It is less than a 5 min walk to the train station, and a 7/11. There are also big supermarkets about 10min walk away.

The shared rooms were very effectively divided by screens, so it was like having your own private nook. Quite luxxy for the cost.

At the accommodation all rooms have bed linen and towels. Very clean and good atmosphere. We were alone most of the time , but for us that was fine :) good facilities and we looooved the Onsen next door. It is perfect location if you wanna explore the surrounding landscape with sites such as iya valley and aragami factory ! Also staff was super friendly and helped us with anything .
