Opened in April 2013 with brand new facilities, Piece Hostel Kyoto is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. It was my third time here. I always come back when I'm in Kyoto. One of the best places I've ever stayed at! Great location, friendly staff, lots of amenities and comfortable beds.

This female-only property is set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, CAFETEL Kyoto Sanjo for Ladies is a 4-minute walk from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Super clean, well-equipped, everything you need is there. Nice staff. Great location, you can take the lift directly from the metro to your floor, amazing.

Conveniently located in the centre of Kyoto, Colours offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. This 1-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. Perfect place to stay! The owner was very welcoming and we felt like home. We could leave our luggages until late at night after the check-in. Not so much to say! Just perfect!

A 5-minute walk from Higashiyama Subway Station, Guest House Ga-Jyun features free Wi-Fi at the entire property. The wooden terrace has chairs overlooking the garden. We are small house with 5 rooms. If you're looking for a near-authentic homestay, this is the place to go. The owner goes out of his way every morning to make sure there's an extensive breakfast buffet in the communal room, which feels like an actual living room. Beds are comfortable, shower is great and there are laundry facilities all next to this cute garden. We've been here twice now and we'll probably be back some more times. Also Jiro is still as amazing as ever ;)

There are also plenty of bus routes nearby to take you to major attractions. For this price, the comfort and location you get in Kyoto are unbeatable. Highly recommended!

Situated within 400 metres of Gion Shijo Station and 1.3 km of Samurai Kembu Kyoto, Rinn Hostel Miyagawacho features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kyoto. The value for room size was excellent with both traditional beds and a tatami mat room section. The location near the Gion-Shiojo Subway Station puts most of the city at your disposal. 10min walk or less to the hear of the Gion district.

Our stay at Shin Kyoto was absolutely incredible! The place itself is beautiful, comfortable, perfectly located, and incredibly clean. What truly made it special was Shin, the owner. Shin is incredibly friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have a memorable experience. His warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and he was always available for any questions or recommendations we needed. Staying here felt like staying with a friend!
