This female-only property is set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, CAFETEL Kyoto Sanjo for Ladies is a 4-minute walk from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Super clean and comfortable, felt very secure and safe in the hostel. Direct access to station via a lift from inside the hostel which was super helpful. Staff were all so sweet and helpful too. Location was great and walking distance from almost everything we wanted to do. The bathrooms/make up and hair facilities were some of the best I have ever had in a hostel. All in all I have no complaints at all, definitely worth the higher hostel cost!

Really nice little place with perfect location in kyoto. The owner is super friendly and offers help and suggestions for your trip. I highly recommend staying!

A 5-minute walk from Higashiyama Subway Station, Guest House Ga-Jyun features free Wi-Fi at the entire property. The wooden terrace has chairs overlooking the garden. We are small house with 5 rooms. Ichiro and Shoko are the best hosts, and breakfast is incredible. A wonderful place :)

It was really clean and stylish and almost everything was automated! You will get a chance to meet an owner who will give you instructions on how to behave and will give you any advice or help needed. The property is being taken care of care about every day so even tho bathroom and common space are shared they were all perfectly clean and supplied.

Attractively situated in the Minami Ward district of Kyoto, Wise Owl Hostels Kyoto is situated 1 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto, 2.3 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 2.6 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan... Really god location so close to the train station. It’s a nice and clean hostel!

Situated in Kyoto and with Samurai Kembu Kyoto reachable within 400 metres, Ryokan Hostel Gion features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Everything was so clean and nice. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept at in a hostel (and I’ve been to many 😅). The workers were so friendly and helpful even though I had to check in late. Such a positive experience!
