Located 400 metres from Aeon Hiro Shopping Mall, おとまち 甘藍 Otomachi Kanran offers 1-star accommodation in Kure and features a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. The rooms were beautiful, but the best part of this hostel is the host.She will make you smile every chance she gets and she's really helpful. She's a bundle of goofy cuteness. The atmosphere is great for hanging out and getting to know fellow backpackers, but enough space to relax on your own.

Situated conveniently in the Ikuchi Island district of Onomichi, 島宿Nest is set 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple and 31 km from Saikokuji Temple. I found Rina to be very helpful, also another staff person who came to help with a WiFi issue. I was made to feel welcome and at home. They also helped with cycle rental. I was given a room overlooking the water. In every way, I liked The Nest and would stay here again.
