The vibe here is super laid-back and friendly, which made meeting other travelers really easy and enjoyable. The facilities are top-notch—clean, well-maintained with cozy bedrooms. The common areas are perfect for relaxing, socializing, or catching up on work. I can't wait to return to Iceland and will definitely be back next time. Highly recommended!

This Icelandic horse farm provides accommodation in Haukadalur Valley, 90 minutes’ drive from Reykjavik. Overlooking Geysir, it offers a guest lounge, garden and horse riding tours. The hosts are very friendly and attentive. They give you a quick tour and explain all the necessities as you arrive. Hotel is very neat, clean and organized. Looks like an old barn made into something so cozy! The view and the nature is amazing! Domestic animals are the point of attraction for people who are into animals, kids would definitely love it.

Set 26 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur in the South Iceland Region, 40 km from Fagrifoss, Hvoll Guesthouse features a barbecue and views of the mountain. Systrafoss twin falls is 24 km away. We were happy with everything :) We wanted to find a place to sleep with a reasonable price away from Vik and we found this one. Clean, comfy bed, 3 kitchens to use, many toilets & baths. Attention, do a grocery shopping before because this place is away from town.

Overlooking Höfn Harbour and Vatnajökull Glacier, this hostel features a guest kitchen, BBQ area and laundry facilities. Staff can help arrange glacier tours, as well as boat and snowmobile trips. Just like all the accommodations in Iceland - extremely clean place (especially shared bathrooms!) with so many kitchen facilities. Also, it was super cheap considering we had a private room.
