ZEN MOON Hostel in Yogyakarta provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a bar. We had a wonderful stay, it's probably the best place we've stayed at that price range so far across Bali and Java. Great value for money, the listing doesn't do it justice. We extended from 3 nights to 5. We'll definitely stay here next time we're in town. Room and bathroom were clean and well fitted. Bed comfortable, AC and mosquito net. Bathroom is big. The decoration is pleasant. The host is attentive. There's a communal rooftop we had to ourselves because there weren't many other guests. We rented scooters through the host to go to Borobudur and they were great and affordable. The location is wonderful, plenty of nice cafes and restaurants around. We loved it

Ranasa Yogyakarta features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and bar in Timuran. I was really pleased with the dorms at ranasa. It is a smaller hostel but has all the facilities of a larger one, including a pool which was bliss in the evening to chill and read a book. The staff were very kind and helpful, and I met some nice people staying to get a beer with. People were quiet at night. Aircon in the dorm was great. Breakfast was delicious. Very good value for money.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The host was great, he booked our trip to borobudur and Pramanan for a good price and gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat and see great live music. The place has such a relaxed feel and we particularly liked the hammocks with the fan in the hot afternoons. The location is brilliant too so really cannot fault the place.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Backyard hostel! We extended from two nights to 4. :) The staff was lovely and helpful. Our private room was super clean and nice. We used the shared kitchen with a fridge and the possibility to make tea or coffee, really great! The shared space was clean and pleasant. We used the opportunity to order breakfast and we tried the local cuisine, so good! We also borrowed a scooter for two days. Everything worked perfectly. Thank you very much!

Very friendly staff, they helped us book taxis, leave baggage there on the last day until we went off to the airport. Good breakfast and good rooms overall. The pool area is also nice for a break.
