The beauty of the position by the river and the food in the restaurant was excellent. I also really liked how helpful and proactive the staff were. When we had a leak in our roof they did everything to help. I also liked that there was a fan in the room.

The hostel offers an à la carte or American breakfast.... The room was large, airy and well appointed. The place was quiet. The staff are fantastic. There is a large kitchen and a dining room too. The Plaza Central is just around the corner and I found it easy to walk the things I wanted to see and to get things I needed. I wish every place where this nice.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, garden, restaurant and free WiFi, Vista Verde Lodge is located in Lanquín, 15 km from Semuc Champey and 15 km from Blue Hole. Fantastic hostel with the most incredible views, especially from the infinity pool. Accom simple and wooden but all you really need for the area. Food at restaurant was great, loved the típico breakfast! Staff was all super kind, their tour of Semuc was 10/10. Very laid back, we loved it.
