The room was large, airy and well appointed. The place was quiet. The staff are fantastic. There is a large kitchen and a dining room too. The Plaza Central is just around the corner and I found it easy to walk the things I wanted to see and to get things I needed. I wish every place where this nice.

Fantastic hostel with the most incredible views, especially from the infinity pool. Accom simple and wooden but all you really need for the area. Food at restaurant was great, loved the típico breakfast! Staff was all super kind, their tour of Semuc was 10/10. Very laid back, we loved it.

A basic hostel in a great location walking distance from Semuc Champey. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the food served was very simple and tasty. It is a good place to stay for a couple of nights while visiting Semuc Champey but don't expect any thrills here. It is a good stay for the price. The wifi is good in the main area but doesn't work in the rooms and dorms.
Greengos is such a beautiful hostel! Only a 10 minute walk to Semuc Champey. The hostel it’s self is beautiful, clean, social and surrounded by beautiful nature. The food is also really good. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Would recommend
Such a cool hostel, super super friendly and helpful staff, great food & massive portions for cheap, clean rooms and free activities to do!
The owner is very helpful and tries his best to help you with every need. The Hostel is also very comfortable. It's a little dirty but it's in the middle of a jungle so I give it a pass. The food in the restaurant is also very good and budget friendly.
Very easy but clean hostel. The staff is amazing. A local family also living in the facilities. The food is good and cheap compared to other hostels around. Do the Semuc Tour here!!! You get the best price and a day full of amazing experiences. David takes you and he is super cool, friendly and helpful.
Lovely place to stay as a base for exploring Semuc Champey. The family make you feel very safe and part of the home. Not a party place like some of the hostels, so if thats your vibe then this place isn't for you. Get David (Marys son) to take you on the full day tour of Semuc Champey, he was amazing, and the group size was much smaller than some of the other tours we saw, which was much better in my opinion.
The staff were very helpful and friendly with good English. The food is pretty good, with many prices cheaper than the town and the laundary service was very fast. Wi-Fi is excellent in the restaurant. Our room (private with shared bathroom) felt a little bare, but it was cool at night. The resort is beautiful and in a great location. It was very easy to catch local transport to Semuc Champery.
The staff were all helpful and nice. The dorm is just a set of bunk beds so I had a private room for the night. Warm shower. The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel/hostel ever. There is a kitchen guests can use but they charge Q20 to use it. They helped me with the bus to Lanquín and transport from Lanquín to Antigua, but it would have been Q25 cheaper to book the transport to Antigua in Lanquín. And if you book a shuttle in Lanquín they pick you up and you don't have to go to the bus stop yourself.
It’s much cheaper than other hostels in the area, along side offers a lot more for a fraction of the cost, stunning views from everywhere in the hostel. breakfast was delicious and good value.
