Situated in Betws-y-coed, 20 km from Snowdon, Woodlands Centre features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Amazing location close to restaurants and beautiful walks close by. The buses to Snowdonia are within a 5 minute walk of the hostel as well which was great! The common areas were spacious, a large kitchen to use, showers had hot water and the beds were wooden so there was no squeaking. The staff were lovely and gave us advice for our trip - would stay here again next time we’re back!

A beautiful hostel in a very strategic point for walks and hikes. Staff is super kind and welcoming, the room and common areas are extremely clean, there is a nice kitchen with all amenities. Room small but cosy, with nice views. Would stay again!

Set in Llanberis, 7 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway, Lodge Dinorwig offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I liked everything welcoming, food, place, owners. All there was good. Beautiful and cozy place. The owners were friendly and helpful.

Located in Trawsfynydd, 18 km from Portmeirion, Llety Glyndwr - Bunkhouse features views of the mountain. Super friendly staff. Nice location. Comfortable for this type of accommodation. I will come back

Boasting a shared lounge, Base Camp Snowdonia is situated in Betws-y-coed in the Clwyd region, 19 km from Snowdon and 25 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway. This is a great value, clean and tidy hostel in Betws y Coed, with helpful friendly staff and great facilities. Highly recommend!

Located in Dolgellau, within 42 km of Portmeirion and 26 km of Castell y Bere, Kings provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Kings is a self-catering hostel, not a hotel. It was perfect for a large family group that included lots of small children. Communal cooking and washing up worked well, the lounge and books went down a treat, the football table was a success & the grounds, outdoor fire & bbq all proved memorable for the several related families that shared the stay. Dave (owner) provided friendly & discreet support that proved essential during an area-wide power failure.

Best place to stay for climbing Snowdon. Just the right level of comfort considering convenience. Staff helpful and great kitchen cooking up food after a long hike!

Gallt y Glyn Hostel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Llanberis. Located around 7.9 km from Snowdon, the hostel with free WiFi is also 39 km away from Portmeirion. Very nice hostel. Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Really did make an effort to make our stay wonderful.
