Situated in a converted school house, Lodge Dinorwig is located in Dinorwig, 8 km from Snowdon. Free private parking is available on site. These people are the best, super friendly and helpfull all the time. The have a really good menu so everyone will have something they like, doesn't matter if it's for breakfast or diner. Event the lunch package was really good and plenty for me at least! They have plenty of advise to give on the region since they are also hikers. The bunkbeds have a seperate light and one plug to charge your stuff. I had good nights there

The Deluxe double room is amazing, huge and very comfortable (and with very nice views!); we had everything we could need. Shared spaces were also very clean and cosy, with books and games in the living room and a nice breakfast area set up in the kitchen in the morning. Henrietta and Bob were very friendly and welcoming! We had most of our trip planned as we mainly came for hiking, but Henrietta recommended a nice little hill a few minutes away (walking distance!) where we could enjoy a lovely view of the town and the mountains before heading back to catch the train. I am going to be back without any doubt.

Llangollen Hostel Self-catering is a 4-star, Victorian town house in the centre of Llangollen. Amazingly spacious, clean room with everything you’d need. Great to have all the usual hostel facilities while also having a hotel quality room and en suite! The location was top notch - parked in our usual car park and said “we better find the hostel” - looked up and there it was!
