Clematisso is a youth hostel located in La Marana, 17 km from Bastia. The property features a barbecue and a private beach area. You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property. I was travelling with a bike, and I disembarked from my ferry in Bastia late in the evening (10pm). The host was so kind to wait for me beyond the check-in time until I arrived after an hour ride from the port and prepared a room (with bathroom) all for myself even if beds were available in other rooms occupied by guests (at no further charges). For the rest I could find everything I needed for a comfortable night. Fully recommended!

Located in Calvi, 2 km from Pinède Beach, Relais International de la Jeunesse provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a bar. The location..stunning views of the Citadel and Calvi.. the group dinners connecting with everyone there...also the food was excellent and the price of wine to go with was perfect. Busy sometimes but added to the group energy. I hooked up with other travelers for short trips..rides to town. I stayed much longer than I had planned... came back 10 days later and I'm already planning fir next summer. The manager Sebastian was a little difficult for me to read in the beginning and mostly the staff does not speak english..but once I got to know Sebastian... he is the Best!

Situated in Porto Ota, chez marie has a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Rooms have a balcony with a mountain view. Everything was excellent. The vegetarian meals the kitchen made me were so satisfying and tasty for such a reasonable price. I highly recommend Chez Marie for hostels or gîtes traveling to a terrific setting with beautiful and dramatic mountain stream walks and wading just a kilometer to the east.

Situated in Vero, 25 km from Port de Plaisance Charles Ornano, U Castellu features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The place was very clean, there is enough space in the rooms. Breakfast was very nice and the staff has always been kind and available. The self check-in is very useful. Very very good accomodation

Situated at an altitude of 750 metres in the village of Zevaco in the Corsican Mountains, Auberge de Jeunesse Chez Mc Donald is just 30 minutes from the beaches at Ajaccio. This place is better than a 5-star hotel. Just don't expect much comfort, be open-minded and enjoy true Corsican lifestyle.
