Offering a year-round outdoor pool and barbecue, Surf Salvacion Boutique Hotel is located in Cabarete in the Puerto Plata Province Region, 500 metres from Encuentro Beach. Everything was perfect, the host was amazing and extremely helpful and great. The place was in a nice quiet neighborhood and only a short walk from the surf beach. The place itself was really clean with a nice terrasse, outside area and a pool, very relaxing. Every place has its own kitchenette

Featuring a garden, bar and views of sea, Wing Camp is located in Cabarete, a few steps from Cabarete Beach. I am very satisfied with my stay. Wing Camp is a great hostel. I met some amazing people, and everything was perfect. The room was clean, and the hostel is located right on the beach. The owner is simply wonderful, very kind and responsive. She helped me with all the questions I had. Thank you so much, I will definitely come back.

Villa Mar Sosua is situated in Sosúa, 11 km from Cabarete. Río San Juan is 47 km away. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. I was so pleased with my experience at Villa Mar Sosua that I ended up staying twice more on my 3 week trip traveling around the DR! BEAUTIFUL property, cutely decorated rooms, and very kind staff. As a solo female traveler in the DR for my very first time, I was a bit nervous about safety - and I felt SO SAFE here on this property. Parking was easy, and they have a restaurant on site too (though I didn't end up getting to try it).
