The place was in a nice quiet neighborhood and only a short walk from the surf beach. The place itself was really clean with a nice terrasse, outside area and a pool, very relaxing. Right in the middle of where you want to be in town, 20 second walk to the beach and an awesome yard to store all the kite toys & have a work-out on no-wind days :)

I was so pleased with my experience at Villa Mar Sosua that I ended up staying twice more on my 3 week trip traveling around the DR! BEAUTIFUL property, cutely decorated rooms, and very kind staff. As a solo female traveler in the DR for my very first time, I was a bit nervous about safety - and I felt SO SAFE here on this property. Parking was easy, and they have a restaurant on site too (though I didn't end up getting to try it).
