This is a great hostel, especially for a city hostel, I liked everything about it. Was a good mix of people staying there, lots of chill out space, and also near the beach and restaurants.

Το Sunset Surf Camp βρίσκεται σε Saint-François, σε απόσταση 500μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Raisins Clairs και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και μπαρ. Sunset Surf Camp is such a lovely place! From the moment I arrived I felt like home. The energy in this place is incomparable. The pool is so nice and Peyo and Babette, the hosts, are very nice and welcoming. I would 100% stay at Sunset Surf Camp again. The wifi works very well, the kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are comfortable and clean (I stayed in a single bedroom). I also met some amazing people during my stay here so if you are a solo traveler, this is PERFECT for you. The beach, bakery and convenience store are an 8min walk from the hostel. There is also a bar right next to it which is really fun for dancing, meeting people and having good drinks. I can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at Watermelon House for a week, coming from Santo Domingo. From the moment I contacted them to ask for directions, Bartoz was incredibly kind and helpful. The hostel is simple but definitely worth the price! I booked a private room with a private bathroom. Although there isn’t much natural light in the room, this wasn’t a problem for me because all the good things to explore are outside the hostel. The location was ideal for me as it was the perfect starting point for all the tours I took throughout the week. It’s very close to the Malecón, and there’s a nice variety of restaurants and interesting places nearby. The hostel itself is cozy, and the pets, especially Amazon, are adorable and easy to fall in love with! The breakfast was simple but tasty, and it was such a relief to wake up to a good cup of coffee and something to start the day with. It’s definitely appreciated! I have to mention that power outages are common in the area, but it’s nothing to do with the hostel—it’s something that happens throughout the whole region. It didn’t bother me at all since the locals live with it, and it’s good to be aware of these things. Even so, the hostel has a small generator that powers the WiFi router for about an hour, so you’re not completely disconnected. Valentina, the host, was amazing—super friendly and always welcoming. I even had the chance to visit places and go on an excursion with her, and I had an incredible time!

I loved the peacefulness and the view. The pool is amazing and the people were so nice. I booked a dorm room and ended up with a single one. That was so kind of them since I had an exhausting day. I recommend without a doubt. They are accessible via phone and answer very quickly!

Το Gordon Town Kotch βρίσκεται στο Κίνγκστον και διαθέτει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και δωρεάν WiFi. Όλες οι μονάδες διαθέτουν λευκά είδη. Lovely place with lovely young owners. I really appriceate thé private access to the river and also all the nice waterfalls around.

Το Sleep'n'Ride είναι σε El Yaque και προσφέρει παραθαλάσσια καταλύματα, σε απόσταση 100μ από Παραλία Playa el Yaque. Διαθέτει διάφορες ανέσεις, όπως κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα. the host is very nice and helpful, the terrace is beautiful and right in front of the beach 🙂

Το Judy House Backpacker Hostel βρίσκεται στο Brighton Sea Front, κοντά στο Little Bay, και διαθέτει εγκαταστάσεις μπάρμπεκιου και κήπο. Property was in super relaxed area. Felt super cozy

Το Surf Salvacion Boutique Hotel βρίσκεται στο Cabarete της επαρχίας Puerto Plata, σε απόσταση 500μ. από την παραλία Encuentro. Προσφέρει εξωτερική πισίνα που λειτουργεί όλο το χρόνο και μπάρμπεκιου. Babette, the owner was absolutely amazing from the start to the end of our trip. We were 4 girls travelling around the country and she helped us get from the bus top to the hotel, made sure we were able to get food from the local supermarket and arranged travel to our next destination. The hotel itself is beautiful and perfect for relaxing or as a base for everything cabarete has to offer such as surfing. there’s a BBQ for everyone to use, laundry, a pool and the beach is a short walk away as well as a food truck market up the road. Would stay here again and thanks so much for your hospitality!
