Dos Brazos

I came as a guest and decided to stay as a volunteer. I sincerely enjoyed my time soaking in the nature and wildlife. There is so much hiking you can do, I recommend staying at least a few nights to enjoy it thoroughly. A special thanks to Ron the owner for his kindness and the other volunteers and guests for a beautiful experience. I look forward to coming again!

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great location, within short walking distance to the shops and restaurants, but still surrounded by wildlife. We had macaws, iguanas, squirrels on the trees, next to our balcony. We stayed in the upstairs rancho. Beautiful room, very clean. Amazing experience

The room was great with a great view. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay really special. They arrange great tours. The property is in a great location but also very quiet and close to the beach. I felt very safe as a solo traveler.
Location, Puerto Jiménez is a very nice quite spot, mangroves, beach, town all within easy walking distance Chosa Manglar was a fabulous place with a private room set back in a mangrove garden, lots of wildlife just outside the door a good communal area and kitchen I extended my stay ii liked it so much. Would definitely recommend to backpackers and budget travellers. Will most certainly be back.
Best hostel in my life and I was in many many Hostels. Yes the food is expensive, but many people brought food and they didn't mind. The tours are great but also quite pricey. The good thing is that you can look hike a lot on your own just keep in mind that there are almost no signs so it's best to hike with GPS.The only thing I regret is that I had to leave.
