Situated in Santa Marta, Viajero Santa Marta Hostel features accommodation with a terrace swimming pool and a rooftop bar with a city view. Literally the nicest hostel I've been to in terms of value for money. Super super clean, bunk beds with curtains so no issues with privacy, cute rooftop with a pool. The girls at the reception very super nice, gave me all the local recommendations and booked me a taxi! Also ideal if you need to do work on your laptop, the working areas were great and not busy at all.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Masaya Casas Viejas is set 30 minutes away from Minca in the Magdalena Region by 4x4 or motorcycle, and 12 mi from Santa Marta. this place has amazing views and a heated pool. the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Hostal Vista Verde Minca features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Minca. Providing a bar, the property is located within 19 km of Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. Really nice experience in Hostel Vista Verde! I only stayed 1 night but would’ve loved staying more nights there! I needed a room with 2 beds. The unit that was given to me included 2 queen size beds, with its pillows, sheets, and a covering against mosquitos (but it was not needed! The unit was clean and cozy, and the price was really good! The staff was amazing, Julia the owner was really nice, Steffany the cook, prepared a delicious dinner, and all the staff was nice, even Jualia’s son was quite adorable and has my name “Alvaro”. The hostel is around 45 min away from town, and you gotta climb a lot of hills, but it is worth the experience. In general I’d recommend this hotel!

Located in Guachaca, Mendihuaca Surf Camp offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Guachaca Beach and provides various facilities, such as a garden, a terrace and a bar. The volunteers and workers were amazing and really friendly, they should get a raise for the work they are doing;).

Set in Minca, 18 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, Finca Hostal Bolivar - Casa Quinta offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. - It's up a hill (7 minute hike) with no neighours so it's very quiet and peaceful - All the owners and staff are super friendly - Clean and comfortable room that's cleaned each day - Brilliant viewpoint to see the sunset - Nice outdoor dining/chill-out area with views of the mountains and Santa Marta - They can have food delivered to the place if you don't want to walk into town - Well equipped kitchen for cooking any type of meal There's not many people staying and no activities organized but for me and most people we really loved this because it was a perfect place to really relax, enjoy nature and just move at a very slow pace. I booked 2 nights but stayed 5 and was very sad to have to leave.

The Valley Tayrona hostel- A unique social jungle hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in El Zaino. The atmosphere in this place is amazing, really relaxed and chill staff and guests. The food and the drinks delicious and affordable! The pool clean and refreshing. Sleeping in a cabin basically outside was such a cool experience, felt safe and exciting, would recommend! Definitely the best hostel we have been out of all 10 during one month in Colombia.

Located in Minca, 33 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, Mano Verde Minca provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. I was in doubt when I found out how far from Minca this location is (from Minca bus terminal 45min by moto) but it was one of the best decisions and favorite stays in Colombia! Staff was very kind (Doris and two girls on their workaway, thank you for everything!), I was lucky enough that on the 1th night I was the only one in the dorm (which btw offers amazing view over Sierra Nevada!), food was really good, place is quite,... so make sure you will come for more than one night :)

Located in El Zaino, La Finca Lorena Tayrona features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything. The place is beautiful, it’s super clean, new and very very cosy. The common area is amazing, with hammocks and the nice garden. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need to cook. And the lady Ruth at the reception was really lovely with me during my stay. Even if you have to walk 10 min from the main road, it worth is as the place is really quiet at night and you don’t hear the noise from the road. Unfortunately I could stayed only one night but I would have loved to stay longer.

Located in Santa Marta, less than 1 km from Bahía de Santa Marta Beach, Imagine hostel features air-conditioned rooms and a bar. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The staff is extremely friendly and the hostel super clean. We stayed one night and left in the morning for Tayrona. The location is perfect if you want to take a bus somewhere as it is only a five-minute-walk to the bus station. The breakfast is good! We could leave our luggage at the hostel for two days while being in the nationalpark - for free! When we came back we were allowed to shower. Great hostel, can only recommend!

Amazing property, people, vibes food etc. it was the best part of our stay in Colombia and we loved every second at this hotel! Don’t doubt in booking!
