Villa Margarita ligger i Puerto Colombia, 500 m fra Puerto Colombia Strand, og tilbyder indkvartering med udendørs swimmingpool, gratis privat parkering, have og terrasse. The moment we walked through the door we felt at home! The staff were all so lovely, greeting us, helping us navigate the area - and even a bonus Colombian history lesson over breakfast! The garden space was really spacious and beautiful with plenty of hammocks, and the pool/jacuzzi was great for cooling down. Breakfasts were varied and delicious! We came for Barranquilla and had a great time in town, but were very grateful to return to the oasis of Villa Margarita every day. It was easy to get into Barranquilla, a bus from down the road or taxi for 30.000 to 50.000. There were also some delicious restaurants- Fratelli d'Italia for incredible pizza and El Rustico for lovely local food. We didn't want to leave!
