Situated in Xi'an and within 3.8 km of Drum Tower, Sifang Space Hostel Xi'an - Xi'an TIYUCHANG metro station Line2 has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The Hostel is located at the exist the line 2 subway station which is really convenient. It is in the 17th floor of the building with a beautiful view over the city at night. The lobby is small but cosy. The rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable and I loved the storage cabinets that can be locked by keycard. The hostel stuff are so friendly and speak amazing english, we even got upgraded from a 6 ppl/ room to a 4 ppl/ room for free, for which we are really thankful. We liked our 3 days- stay in Xian a lot and would totally recommend staying at this hostel.

Located at the foot of Mount Hua, Huashan International Youth Hostel is only 50 metres from Mount Hua Scenic Area. The family running the place is friendly and supportive. Certainly, if you are able to communicate in chinese, that improves and eases your experience, but they know that foreigners may show up and make their best to provide the accomodation you are looking for. There is specially one kind girl with English skills, which is very helpful for the essentials. If you plan to hike the path from the foot of the mountain, just need to cross a street to reach the entrance. Moreover, the visitor center is within a 20-30 minute walk, going directly through an avenue, and a taxi ride costs around 10 RMB.

Featuring a rooftop terrace, See Tang Hostel offers pet-friendly accommodation in Xi'an. The location is excellent. Great little market area outside on the street. Staff don’t speak much English but are helpful. We had one of the top floor glass wall rooms near the restaurant. The glass wall was not needed as there is no view, just a tiny internal courtyard It also heated up a lot as it got a lot of sun. We didn’t eat at restaurant as there are so many options outside.

Xi'an Travelling with Hotel (South Gate) is located opposite the historic ancient walls of Ming Dynasty. The famous Bell Tower and the lively Huimin Food Street can be reached in a 8-minute walk. Great location just inside the gate. If you follow the city wall to the west, there is a lively morning market with breakfast options and local life. Nice soft bed and space for sitting and enjoying the view. Roof top also great!
