Conveniently situated in Xi'an, Xi'an Desti Youth Park Hostel Bell & Drum Tower provides air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a bar. I spent 2-weeks travelling alone in China. This was the best hostel I stayed during my trip (and probably one of the top-3 hostels I've ever stayed). The location is amazing, 2 mins from the metro station and 5 mins walking from the Muslim quarter. The facilities are clean and perfectly equipped, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the common spaces are big and lively (you can meet other travelers here). Definitely recommended

The family running the place is friendly and supportive. Certainly, if you are able to communicate in chinese, that improves and eases your experience, but they know that foreigners may show up and make their best to provide the accomodation you are looking for. There is specially one kind girl with English skills, which is very helpful for the essentials. If you plan to hike the path from the foot of the mountain, just need to cross a street to reach the entrance. Moreover, the visitor center is within a 20-30 minute walk, going directly through an avenue, and a taxi ride costs around 10 RMB.

Featuring a rooftop terrace, See Tang Hostel offers pet-friendly accommodation in Xi'an. Spacious room, nice bathroom with a separated shower. They cleaned the bins everyday. Location was really good, close to the belltower, the citywall and metro!

The famous Bell Tower and the lively Huimin Food Street can be reached in a 8-minute walk. great location, worked really well for a quick trip around Xi’an with my family. The owner was very friendly and gave us lots of suggestions on where to go and what to do
