The check in experience was so easy, and my host gave great recommendations. It was very fun to be staying in a palafito in Castro! She even let me borrow a raincoat, because I didn't have one.

Featuring ocean views Hostal Vista al Mar hct is located in Ancud only 500 metres away from the city centre and steps away from the Bus Terminal Cruz del Sur. We loved the hostal. At first you find it a bit "tired", but soon you´ll see it is a very cozy place to stay. Very nice staff. We 3 people stayed at the big apartment with 3 rooms. Our bed was very comfortable. We also had a mini kitchen and a sight on the Pacific Ocean. Tha bathroom was ok. The higlight was the breakfast with warm bread and great local products, marmalades, butter, good coffe. It was worth the reasonable price we payed. A must.
