Set in a rustic-style house only a 10-minute walk from San Pedro Church, Hostal Mamatierra offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in San Pedro de Atacama. We had a really warm welcome! The hostel is very beautiful and clean and there‘s everything you need. I would totally recommend a stay! Breakfast is amazing and if you leave early you get a snack. Thank you for the great time there!

Room is very comfortable, spacious and clean. Well equipped kitchen - everything available to prepare meal (beware of cat 😄) . Convenient patio is a good place to chill and stargaze. Also it’s possible to park a car on property. Relatively close to centre (15 mins on foot). It’s worth mentioning that Cecilia and her son organized the return of our phone (to Poland) which we left there. We are really thankful for their effort and honesty. 🫶

We can't recommend this place enough, as soon as we walked in we felt at home, the owner is so so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We speak very basic Spanish and she was very patient to let us practice and we had some lovely conversations. The rooms were spotless, and they were cleaned every day we were there, and the beds were super comfy. The breakfast was the best we've had in any hotel in South America (coffee, cereal, juice, bread, yoghurts, waffles, egg).

Very clean and tidy property and room. Host was extremely friendly and helpful. We came at a time when the weather wasn't great so many of the popular attractions were closed, and our host was able to provide advice for things we could do instead, one of which ended up being a trip highlight 'the Devil's Throat'. Also recommended a great French bakery where the croissants were incredible! Rooms are small but cosy and comfortable. There was a small kitchen to prepare a cup of tea in the morning and a fridge to store food. They also have the sweetest cat and little doggy to top off the stay!

Hostal Lalcketi tilbyder indkvartering i San Pedro de Atacama med gratis WiFi. Love it. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and smelled so good. Very friendly owner and staff. If we had to leave early for the tours they would leave the breakfast in paper bags for us. They have available hot water in a thermos all day for coffee or tea. Also spring water available so we didn't have to buy more bottles of water. About 10 minutes from caracoles.. Tony, the owner let us leave the luggage in the storage room after the check out so we could spend some more time in Caracoles. I would definitely stay there again.

For the price it's really hard to beat! Nice big comfortable bed and toilet always clean. Pamela and her husband were great hosts, very kind and warm people. They even make you breakfast to go if you have a tour.

Lovely and caring staff members! Big thanks to them :) The kitchen was well-equipped, breakfast was phenomenal and nutritious, bathrooms and rooms were cleaned spotless on a daily basis. Central and super convenient location, and despite being centrally located, the hostel was calm and quiet.

Mrs. Elvira, who attended to us, was very sweet and attentive, always in a good mood and with a smile on her face. Although it is located far from the town's center, the hotel is like a refuge, there is not much movement and it is very peaceful. It is possible to rent bicycles to go faster to the town centre, although we didn't rent one, we went on foot. They seemed to be doing some work to improve the space, but more improvements were needed in the surroundings. The street needed to be significantly improved, but it's not the hotel's fault. I highly recommend it if you want to spend a few days, there is parking for your car. TIP for travellers: San Pedro de Atacama seems to be a calm place, there is a lot to see and getting around by car seems to be a much more pleasant option than rushing around on tours. Shower water is hot during the day, and at night it takes a little longer to heat up. Self-service breakfast and complete. Elvira kindly prepared the table for us each morning.
