The place is very different from the hostels I experienced around the world. Stylish but also really cosy with very lovely and friendly owners. You find all essential things, there is a limited number of rooms so it's not that mass tourism place like HI. Still you easily meet people. You can walk for 15 minutes to the train station, but also direct hikes from the place through the wine yards and meadows are great to manage. We really enjoyed our stay and even prolonged because we liked the place so much.

I had a twenty hour layover at Zurich International Airport. I landed around nine pm and I stayed at this hostel for the night. It was an easy commute via train from the airport and the key was left for me to check in. The room was clean and spacious with lockers that you can leave your belongings in (bring your own lock.) Overall, I recommend this hostel!

Viktoria Budget Hostel i Zürich erbjuder boende endast för vuxna med en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Alla rum har ett kök och ett delat badrum. The location was easily accessible by tram (around 15 minutes by tram from the central main station). The staff were really nice and kind and explained everything well to us (although in broken English, but still understandable). There was a really nice kitchen with a microwave and oven as well as an electric stove. Overall a very comfy stay.
