Set in Stäfa, within 23 km of Zurich Opera House and 23 km of Bellevueplatz, Pilgerhüsli Backpacker offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who... The place is very different from the hostels I experienced around the world. Stylish but also really cosy with very lovely and friendly owners. You find all essential things, there is a limited number of rooms so it's not that mass tourism place like HI. Still you easily meet people. You can walk for 15 minutes to the train station, but also direct hikes from the place through the wine yards and meadows are great to manage. We really enjoyed our stay and even prolonged because we liked the place so much.

Depot 195 occupies a renovated brick building in a historic factory site in the centre of Winterthur, 500 metres from the train station. It offers a snack bar and free WiFi access. I had a twenty hour layover at Zurich International Airport. I landed around nine pm and I stayed at this hostel for the night. It was an easy commute via train from the airport and the key was left for me to check in. The room was clean and spacious with lockers that you can leave your belongings in (bring your own lock.) Overall, I recommend this hostel!

Surrounded by a large park, Youth Hostel Richterswil is set right on the shore of Lake Zurich, 500 metres from the railway station. Very nice area, very good service , highly recommend

Men for de som ikke er vant til å bo i ett red light distict med mye droger og prostitusjon blir dette en ubehagelig overraskelser. Det ligger også en club i bygget ved siden av som er veldig høylytt med musikk på høy volum gjennom natten til tidlig morgen.
