Nyon

I stayed in a dormitory room for girls only and we had a private WC. Only the bathroom is shared which is pretty nice.
I also love what Louisa is doing: there was a gathering to explore the city each evening which is pretty cool.
Montreux

Avenches
Newly renovated in 2014, Youth Hostel Avenches is a 15-minute walk from the Avenches train station. It features a large garden with barbecue facilities and table tennis and pétanque options. A buffet breakfast is served free of charge, and free WiFi in the entire hostel is provided as well. The children loved the garden and games available!
Vevey
Just 50 metres from the shore of Lake Geneva, the Vevey Hotel occupies a 19th-century mansion in the historic centre of Vevey. It offers free Wi-Fi and a bar with a terrace overlooking the lake.

Before booking this hostel I had a really terrible night. I felt very bad but thanks to Mösyö Philipa I felt better and safe. He was very helpful. I spent the whole day in my room because I didn't want to go anywhere but only sleep and rest. So I cannot say more about the facility but the staff were all smiling and helpful. Thank you so much Mösyö Philipa.
Great location in the old town, feels safe. It is convenient that there is a restaurant in the house, too.

The room was bright and spacious, every bed (bunk beds) has curtains that guarantee total privacy. Even if no shower in the bedroom, there are a toilet and a sink. Hear this: plugs in the locker, so I could charge my phone and laptop in total safety. Building and furniture are new, no luxury but quite comfortable. Good breakfast including with price, this one being quite fair for being Switzerland.
The hostel is extremely well located. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room with 6 bunk beds is quite big. Beds are extremely comfortable. The facilities are amazing providing anything u need for cooking. Wifi is very efficient. In 1 word: this hostel is extremely good

Overall, the hostel was quite good. It was very clean and neat. There was even a toilet and a wash basin in each room. For each bunk bed, there was a small curtain for you to close and prevent the light, which was quite nice. The common bathroom was also very clean and well-designed. There was some personal space (after locking the door of each shower cell) for you to put your belongings in a safe and dry manner. The breakfast was quite good. I enjoyed the stay very much overall.
The shared kitchen meant we could keep our costs down. It had the facilities of a youth hostel, but the comfort of a hotel room. A great idea. It was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and the location couldn’t have been better.
