The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. It offers a park with a pool, free WiFi and a limited number of free parking spaces. Everything is well organaized, clean. All services, restrictions were well explained in small leaflet they gave me at reception. Receptionists who attended me were all kind and helped me to find a solution, how to get the train etc. The response to my email inquiries prior to my stay was also very quick. It was worth adding a breakfast! What I wasn't expected was "ticino ticket app" that I was given free transport for the duration of my stay. People say that prices are high in Switzerland, but if the service is this good, it is worth it.

Each room at Youth Hostel Bellinzona has a sink and access to shared bathroom facilities. Lockers can be organised and there are shared laundry facilities. The view outside is really great, can just see the wall of the castle. The staff is very nice and solve my problem when I cannot connect to the WiFi successfully.
