Set in Interlaken, 1.3 km from Interlaken East Port, Chalet Hostel @ Backpackers Villa Interlaken offers accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. Located in the middle of Interlaken, both stations were about a 10 minute walk away. The hostel also gave us cards for free bus trips around a interlaken in case we didn’t want to walk. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean. Our room was mixed gendered and had 3 bunk beds (so 6 people in total). There are washing machines and a fully equipped kitchen on the basement, so you can cook yourself if you want to save a couple francs

Lovely place, more like a small hotel then a hostel. We stayed in a twin private room on the 2nd floor. Fabulous view of the mountains with paragliders going past! It was in a quiet area and while there were people around it was not a hectic place. Very relaxing. The location is a 5\7 minute walk from Interlaken west train station. Interlaken ost station is the busier one where you get trains to the mountains. We got a bus outside the door to Wilderswil where you can connect to trains. You get a free pass to use public transport within Interlaken. The location was great for us as it gave an authentic Swiss feel and we could walk or get the bus to the busier side of Interlaken. The room was a great size and the breakfast was lovely too. I would highly recommend this hostel for people who want to be in a town but in lovely calm surroundings.

Right next to Interlaken Ost Train Station, Youth Hostel Interlaken is situated between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a snack bar. Great location, coean facilities and very helpful staff

Come to Balmers and stay in the oldest private hostel in Switzerland! Our hostel is situated in three traditional Swiss wooden chalets that surround a courtyard, terras and garden. I like that they have this activity planned the whole week for the guests, its good especially for solo traveller. They are like family from all over the world.

Directly located on the shore of Lake Thun, Youth Hostel Leissigen comes with free Wi-Fi and a private beach with a swim platform. All rooms have wooden floors. I absolutely LOVED this hostel. It's just a beautiful as the photos show. The character of the heritage building is lovely. It oozes with the feeling of a secluded summer lodge, yet is close enough to interlaken to get to everything easily. The staff were kind, helpful and welcoming. They provided me gluten free buns for breakfast.

Offering a restaurant, a bar and a terrace where guests can dine during summer, Happy Inn Lodge is located in Interlaken’s centre. In winter, a shuttle service to the surrounding ski areas is... clean and comfy room, great food and nice environment to get drinks at the bar. Amazing location, just in the center of Interlaken.
