The family-friendly Backpackers Villa in Interlaken, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, offers simple yet stylish rooms that are individually decorated. Fantastic location just 10 mins walk to Interlaken Ost and right in front was Hohematte Park which is the iconic location for everything. I was so lucky to get a room with a view of the mountains. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a laundry room that's super easy and cheap to use, just €4 and free dryer. They've thought of everything for all the seasons, there's even a ski boot drying room and boots to borrow. Plenty of working space and communal space for gatherings or quiet corners for some alone time. Breakfast was the same everyday but that didn't bother me, it's good enough to fuel up for the day. Also large kitchen for preparing your own meals.

It would be perfect year round. Would recommend staying here and we’d love to come back. We really liked that it was a walk away from the town centre. (Or cab ride) there’s a ski lift really close by, would be amazing in the winter!

Clean toilet/shower, well equipped kitchen. Free parking right next to the building. Train station at just 2 minutes walk. Host was very responsive.

Hostelis Bern Backpackers Hotel Glocke atrodas pašā pilsētas centrā izvietotā vēsturiskā ēkā, tikai 100 metru attālumā no slavenā torņa Zytglogge. The kitchen (extra) & services, Minimal administration & max services, The location is very best. Only thing - you have to make your bed by self - they would give bedsheets - I'd say authentic hostel experience 😀

Reopened in April 2018 after extensive refurbishment and surrounded by a quiet garden with a terrace outdoor chess and morris, this youth hostel in the centre of Bern is just a 5-minute walk from the... Nice atmosphere. Not far from the train station. Spacious room and lockers available. Second time we stayed this week. Would stay again.
