Featuring a shared lounge, the hostel is close to several noted attractions, around 1.1 km from MTS Centre, 400 metres from University of Winnipeg and 1.1 km from Manitoba Legislative Building. The air-conditioned rooms provide a city view and come with a desk and free WiFi. It was quite helpful that the site was right on the street corner. It was easy to find. I was right in the centre feeling the University vibe. Both the exterior and interior, the building was clean and well maintained. The lobby area was inviting and it gave an extra layer of comfort that security was friendly, alert and available at all times. The highlight of my stay was my interaction with site staff. Staff Lavkiran was engaging right from the start. With her confidence, I knew right away that she is knowledgeable in her field of work. The site walkthrough was thorough. She allowed for ample time for question and answer. After the settling in, I reached out again for a few follow-up questions. Each concern was properly addressed. Attentive, task-oriented and excellent in customer service are the three top words that come to mind if asked to describe her. As expected, she was able to deliver a high level of customer service. In the entirety of my stay, I knew I could lean on her for support to make my stay worry-free and worthwhile. Thank you for taking care of me in Winnipeg. The wonderful experience surely sparked interest in returning to Manitoba. Thank you so much.

It was a great facility in a great location! It was nice to have a well-equipped kitchen, too, I could cook every now and then as I worked during my 3 weeks stay. Thank you, Irene and James, for all the support during my stay!
Nature of the owner it is safe place to stay
Room was easy to check in and out of. Room was usable and cheap. Overall it was fine, but not sure I'd stay there long term.
Very inexperienced staff who did not “ find us” on their booking system, made us go to the hotel next door, only to be told that the reservation was still at the Grand hotel Upon returning back with all luggage , they “found us” . Manager didn’t have courtesy to apologise either. Courtyard is same price and Lakeview signature is cheaper so stay there if you can
Great location, Easy to walk to the forks, downtown etc
It's safe, clean and in a great location. Would book again. Good value for money.
The unit was clean and nicely laid out. It was well located and parking was easily accessible and safe. Owners were quite helpful. Price was great, cheaper than the hotel we usually go to, and it has a decent kitchen. It was perfect for us for a four day stay!
