Beautiful hostel located in the former general store. Lots of wood and character. Spotless. Good ratio bathroom per person. Very comfortable bed. The kitchen is very well equipped, including some basics such as salt and sugar. Lots of games in the common room. Free parking just outside.

A rooftop patio is offered at this non-smoking Vancouver hostel. Free WiFi is provided in public areas. Yaletown-Roundhouse SkyTrain station is just 1 km away. Hi Vancouver Downtown has become one of my go-to hostels in Vancouver. It's in a fantastic location close to any and all amenities, bus routes, and the sky train lines. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. The rooftop garden is always a nice spot to take a moment in (even when there's a slight drizzle). Recently the hostel also started having breakfast options out for guests and that looked like quite the hit. In terms of dorms, the 4-bed rooms are cosy, the outlet panel above the beds are super handy, and out of all the places I've stayed I'd have to say this one has the best blankets on the beds.

Located 13.2 km from downtown, UBC's Okanagan Campus offers free WiFi. Everything! Check in process was so professional! Room was spotless clean and spacious. We took a 1 bedroom apartment with living room and kitchenette. The campus itself is very beautiful, located in Okanagon Valley. It was a great value of money that we paid. Our main purpose to take this accommodation was to show our high school daughter how the university dorms are. We found our stay very helpful.

We spent a night in this hostel and it was great. It's difficult to say how it would be with more people in the room but with 2 other people it was fine. The lady at the front desk was lovely, the instructions are clear. The hostel is clean and have 2 toilets + 2 showers per gender and the kitchen is well equipped. And thank to the sliding door of your sleeping "room" you still have your own privacy. Do not stay at the hostel if you're claustrophobic though, take a room in the motel

Nastanitev Char's Landing Hostel se nahaja v mestu Port Alberni in ponuja skupni prostor za druženje. Cute hostel with a lot of character. The main lodge was booked but Char put us up in another area where the beds were nicely separated out into their own "sleeping cubicle" which provided a chair for your stuff and plug-ins to charge the phones. Water was provided too which was a nice touch. Char was an exceptional host in providing information on how to access the property since we were checking in late. We were driving in so she also gave us information on what roads to access due to heavy construction in the area.
