The property felt very comfortable, safe, and cozy. Plenty of room in kitchen and living area to hang out and socialize with other guests. The staff was incredible and so friendly and accommodating. I will 100% be back!

After traveling around BC/Alberta for a month this is for sure the best hostel I've stayed at. Reminds of similar concepts in Asia/Europe. This had a very cool layout though which also accommodated couples in their own capsule if they so wish. Very tidy, nice little kitchen with everything we needed to cook breakfast/lunch and a super friendly owner to top it all off! No doubt of where we would stay if we pass through this cool little town again.

Rooms were better than alot of Hostels I have stayed in around the world. Staff were fantastic and had alot of little local tips for different places I could go to make the most of my stay there. Definitely will be choosing the Dancing Bear again next time my adventures take me back through Nelson
