The room was spacious with fans and lots of light. The host was amazingly helpful and tidied the space every day. Wifi was strong, the showers were warm with good pressure, and you could also drink the tap water.

Set in Hopkins, 100 metres from Hopkins Beach, The Funky Dodo Backpackers Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. stayed in the private room - was a big size room and looked the quirky design in the bathroom. hang out area was lovely - enjoyed resting on the hammocks in the early evening. staff were friendly, helpful and happy to give advice. liked the option to refill a water bottle for a very small charge. fresh mangoes on the trees that you could take. good location.
