Perfect location right on the beach! The room was spacious with fans and lots of light. The host was amazingly helpful and tidied the space every day. Wifi was strong, the showers were warm with good pressure, and you could also drink the tap water.

The hostel features family rooms. stayed in the private room - was a big size room and looked the quirky design in the bathroom. hang out area was lovely - enjoyed resting on the hammocks in the early evening. staff were friendly, helpful and happy to give advice. liked the option to refill a water bottle for a very small charge. fresh mangoes on the trees that you could take. good location.

Cheapest budget hostel in Hopkins which attracted a friendly group of travellers. Good location near the beach. Free coffee in the mornings. Kitchen to make your own meals. Bars and restaurants nearby.
Lovely hostel right on the beach. Big dorm room. Each bed has a fan and outlet which is ideal. Nice bedding too. bathroom and kitchen both great. Can't fault it!
Location on the beach was perfect and lots of excellent restaurants nearby. Room was clean and neat, and the housekeeper was lovely. Not much natural light in our room but we knew that when booking the cheaper option, and didn't matter as you literally walk straight out onto the beach! Great private beach area with sun loungers, chairs and tables and floats etc for the sea - really great place to spend the day relaxing.
Amazing location, in the center of Hopkins and close to the beach. Friendly welcome, with elaborate explanations about the place, the neighborhood and potential activities. 8 dorm room was well equipped with fans per bed (and 2 general ones) (no AC) and curtains. Sanitary block was clean (hot showers via solar heating) and definitely enough toilets and showers for the hostel's capacity.
Great location, RIGHT on the sea, the cabana s are worth it. Restaurants close to walk up the beach. Grocery store, pharmacy, right at the end of the property. Everything is very close to you. The staff (Angel) was very helpful.
Placencia Villas is in a great location - just a few hundred metres from the beach and the pier. There's a really nice communal courtyard with hammocks and deck chairs too. Staff were very helpful and friendly too.
A real backpackers hostel. Very nice place near the beach with confortable bedrooms and dorms, a convenient kitchen and nice garden.
- clean and quiet private room with 2 fans which was easily enough - great shared bathrooms with solar heated hot water - good kitchen facilities - cheap drinking water (or you can use the tap water, which is safe) - close to supermarkets and the main bus stop out of Hopkins (be aware that busses only come a couple of times a day!)
Really nice hostel in a great location in Hopkins.There are nice restaurants, bars and a few supermarkets close by. We are gonna mis this place. Emma was really helpfull with planning our activities. The chill area on the rooftop was perfect after a day of snorkling or hiking.
