The hostel was beautiful, the room was great and so was the breakfast. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They cleaned the room each day which was a nice touch! It was only a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Hostel Papagaio is set in Ilha Grande, 200 metres from Sain't Sebastian Church. Free WiFi is available in public areas. All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower. I 100% recommend you to stay at this hostel. Heloise and Giselle were the most helpful and kind people. It’s right by the beach, with shops around but still feels peaceful. Has a full kitchen and great Wi-Fi. The hostel is small, but very clean and homely. Heloise helped sort my transfer back to the mainland at short notice, even taking me down to the dock showing me which boat to get. Thank you for making me feel so welcome!

Situated in Abraão and with Lopes Mendes Beach reachable within 1.7 km, Hostel MPB Ilha Grande features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a shared lounge. It is very cozy hostel with family like atmosphere. The host Sol is very helpful and she makes you feel like at home. I extended my stay from two days to a week.

The property is just few miles from the porto ferroviário, close to the beach, bars, restaurants, trekking trails, clubs! It's just paradise on earth! The people are super friendly and warm. I'm going back to this hostel on my next vacations! I'd highly recommend it!

The atmosphere is friendly, the team of volunteers available, it's the ideal place to meet new people and discover the beauty of ilha grande !!

Offering practical accommodation in the idyllic Ilha Grande, Biergarten Pousada & Hostel is set 5 km from Lopes Mendes Beach. WiFi access is available throughout. Staff was very kind and helpful. They were quick to help with organizing a transfer back to Rio de Janeiro. The hostel is well located; it is close enough to the restaurants and (few) bars, but far enough to have peace and quiet.
