Tupiza
At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a wardrobe. Refugio del Turista features some rooms that have city views, and rooms are fitted with a private bathroom with a shower. At the accommodation the rooms include bed linen and towels. No complaints about the Refugio, bed was good, wifi worked well, basic but good breakfast. We sat out by the pool one afternoon and had a beer, great. Area that you can use in backyard to wash and hang up clothes. Safe and nice staff.

Lovely owner, she made us feel welcome. Great room, lovely hot shower. Had a night Bus and our room was booked but she let us use the communal areas until the evening. Good, very fast laundry service, more expensive than usual but because it's a small town. Comfy beds. Common kitchen area was a big plus.

Best hostel in Uyuni! Private rooms are like hotel rooms: very spacious, clean, with pirvate bathroom
Great location! The room was large and had a TV (not essential but nice) The hotel was great! Nice rooftop that overlooked the city and mountain. The staff were lovely - he even got up to meet us at like 6am to make sure we got a taxi safely. They also offer laundry which is slightly more than in town but 100% worth it - we got it done in town and it came back smelling like petrol, so re-did it with the hotel (after we realised too late they offered the service) and it was done in a couple of hours and delivered to our room!
Wow! What a wonderful hostel. The bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and our host was a superhero. Our tour guide didn’t show for our trip to the salt lakes and our host got us a last minute tour. Best hostel we have had in two months traveling South America!!
really cool hotel actually built out of salt. rooms were massive, tv was huge new Samsung, great location. best place to stay in uyuni by far. go to minuteman pizza, amazing huge pizzas usually full of backpackers
Great location, nothing else..I don't see any special with this place. Other hostel can do better. Left after one night stay,
Lovely clean hostel, wonderful kind staff, the beds were also comfortable. Breakfast was also a bonus as it was very cheap to stay.

Breakfast was amazing! Swimming pool, big bedroom with private bathroom.. And the agency for the Salar was in the same building so very practical! After couple months in backpackers hostel or in a tent, Mitru was a luxury stay for us!
Given that most backpackers will spend just a night here, on the way to or from the salt flats, the hostel is a good choice. It's clean, modern, feels safe, well-located and has good social areas. The breakfast was excellent.
