The Gaestehaus is an excellent address for family looking to stay relatively cheap, the room was clean and spacious enough for 2adults and 2 teens, bedsheets and towels can be provided for extra fees. Breakfast was good. Free parking.

Obertraun
Este hostel ofrece numerosas instalaciones deportivas y está situado en Obertraun, en una zona pintoresca entre el lago de Hallstatt y la cordillera de Dachstein. This is a wonderful location and fine facility to use as a base for exploring Hallstatt and Dachstein-Krippenstein, both of which are just a few minutes drive away. The staff were incredibly friendly (including when we were about 20 minutes late for our check-in and a kind lady stayed late to meet us). Our family of 5 stayed in two rooms, which were large and very clean. They were essentially nice dorm rooms, each with 3 single beds and a private bath. It is a pretty location with nice views of the mountains. We also appreciated the parking available for our rental car. Hallstatt is about a 5 minute drive up the road. Because we were so close, we were able to get to Hallstatt early in the day to find a good parking spot in Park Platz 2 (very near the funicular up to the salt mine) before the crowds arrived.
Obertraun
El Jutel Obertraun está situado al pie del monte Dachstein y a 4 km del lago de Hallstatt. Todos los alrededores y actividades. Fueron maravillosas.

Es una pension/hostal rural, que tienenñ restaurante/bar y tienda de carnes y embutidos. Diariamente llegan personas trabajadoras de la zona a comer o beber; esto es muy relevante porque se aprende como viven las personas del lugar.
Las instalaciones muy bien para ser un albergue. Todo estaba muy limpio, el desayuno perfecto
Buena ubicación para visitar Hallstatt y aparcamiento gratuito enfrente del hostal. Personal agradable. Habitación limpia. El desayuno es normal, el segundo día de quedaron sin fruta y no reponen de todos los productos.
Hostal muy bien situado, limpio, tranquilo y encima el encargado de todo a parte de ser muy amable, te ayuda en todo lo que necesites, ya sea diciéndote como llegar a X sitio, como recomendándote sitios
