Only 150 metres from Ushuaia’s city centre, Antarctica Hostel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and private lockers. An American breakfast is provided and BBQ facilities are featured. The beds are very comfortable , the room is warm , the bathroom is modern . 10/10

With scenic views of Calafate´s mountains and lake, this hostel is a 7-minute walk from downtown Calafate. It features accommodation with floor heating, free Wi-Fi, communal kitchen and laundrette. The staffs are extremely friendly and enthusiastic, we had no problem communicating in English. The stay was pleasant, with very cool common area and scenic view, a little bit far from main street but still within walking distance. The food is tasty at the restaurant, breakfast is ok.

Situated in San Carlos de Bariloche, 12 km from Civic Centre, Cuatro Cerros Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. Really good value. My dad and I shared a private room and we were able to reconfigure the beds to have enough room for us and all our ski gear. It was a convenient drive up to the mountain. It seems like it would be more difficult to get to the mountain without a car. But a guy we met was able to take Uber each day. Everyone was super nice and it was so comfortable.

The private room served me well and it was clean, the location has basically two bathrooms and two kitchens so it was never a problem using any!
