Very new, clean place with good wifi close to bus station. Owner is very responsive and is always available by whatsapp to answer questions. I was coming from Sarande and he knew the bus driver and had them drop me off right in front of the hostel and later also helped reserve my tickets to Tirana without having to wait in line at the station.

Featuring a garden, Villa Elena is set in Berat. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I was supposed to stay just one night but I stayed two after I meet the owner Isa ! The hostel is very nice, 20mn from the center in a quiet neighborhood, the room is confortable and the bathroom clean even equipped with a washing machine ! But the better part of my stay was meeting Isa, it was so nice to spend time with him and to learn more about Albania, his culture and history. Isa is an incredibly kind person and I feel so lucky that I've crossed his path. Berat is a wonderful city and thanks to Isa I leave with the most beautiful memories. Apartment Baza Hostel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Berat. brilliant hostel. Great service. Very clean. Everything new. Good breakfast, Perfect contact with the owner, who was very helpful. In addition, a nice location and great views from the balcony. I can only recommend it. It was the best hostel I've ever been to in my life.
