The breakfast was amazing and the hostel was super clean. Rafet was super kind and picked me up from the bus station because I got off 3 stops too early. The other staffs were so friendly & helpful. I met the coolest backpackers at this hostel. Highly recommended Hanna’s hostel. It's a 5 mins walk from the city bus stop and walking distance from everything.

Loved staying at Ana Rest house. The owners made it feel like a home rather than just a guest house! The location was amazing- near a lot of the other hostels and the house itself was very cute. Rooms were very clean as well as the common area. I especially enjoyed the terrace with the beautiful view. Hosts prepared a lovely breakfast in the morning and were always soo helpful with tips for Berat as well as teaching me some Albanian words. Would always come back and can't recommend enough!

Hostel Aral was in the perfect location, a 5 minute walk from the bus terminal and 30 minutes from the Berat castle. Ervis was such an amazing host, he was very accommodating and helped me with my bus ticket when I was leaving to Saranda. The room was really clean and I loved how the bathroom mirror had a ring light!

The nearest airport is Tirana International Mother Teresa Airport, 119 km from the hostel. It is a great place if you need to rest and recharge. It's a one-room (4-bed) hostel so not a social atmosphere but I didn't really want that so it suited me well. Everything was new and so comfortable. Nice sheets, pillows and a new mattresses. The AC was great and the place was decorated with a lot of love, in a very cute way with Berat touches everywhere. You can tell someone put effort into how it looks! It felt like being at home since they offer small extra things like fresh towels and tea and coffee to have whenever you want - even a little sweet treat left on the bed for you. I also was able to check in early which was really nice of them.

I loved that in the bunk bed you get a curtain for privacy, and the bed and pillows were for once comfortable!!! I jumped on the tour offered by Miri, a really awesome place to discover. Miri is really patient and gives you time to appreciate the visited spots
