Really loved my stay here! Yaya who runs the hostel is very nice and they have a beautiful garden, you can ask to roam through it and pick some things. The location is a bit of a hike from the bus stop, and very much worth it in my opinion. The view is remarkable and the hostel is located near stunning Filikuri beach. I would 100% stay here again when I visit Himarë.

Perfect location, quiet, clean, very good breakfast, reception very helpful, and all at a great price. Loved it and will recommend it to my friends. Thanks much for a great stay.

The owner and his mother were so nice and helpful. We felt totally welcome. We had the feeling that they had tried everything to fulfil our wishes. When we walked into town, Daniel even offered to pick us up. The location may not be central, but the rooms and also the outside area are nice and clean, the coffee for breakfast was delicious. The hospitality is priceless and at the same time you get more than enough for your money.

The people and volunteers were super friendly. There is a great welcoming and warm atmosphere. The garden is beautiful with lots of space to hang out with more people or to find a quiet corner. The kitchen, rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the breakfast is great and creating a great moment for all guests to meet.

The hostel is exceptionally clean and offers a peaceful environment, perfect for relaxation. Its central location makes it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any needs. Furthermore, the price is excellent and very reasonable. I highly recommend Durrës Hostel to anyone visiting the area!

Right on the sea, with stunning views all day, and epecially at sunset. Free breakfast down in the restaurant, with sea view and cool sea breeze every morning. Free umberellas on the beach and free towels for the hostelers. A refreshing drink on arrival thats on the house. Air conditioners in the rooms work great. I could not have enjoyed more anywhere else. On first day I extended for 4 nights, I knew this place was exactly what I needed for my holiday in Albania. Alfredo runs the place himself as the owner, alongwith his brother who lives in the US. He always had a smile and a positive attitude. I had several lovely conversations with him about the place in English and he always managed to make me laugh. He ensured everything was perfect in the hostel. This place is really a gem in the heart of Himara! I could take a walk along the shore just outside the hostel. I wouldnt be surprised if the prices go up as the years go by, but for now, enjoy a perfect deal while it lasts

Rooms were spacious, one of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever been. Location is a ok, a bit far from the beach area but bus stops, Old town and shops are close by. Hostel owners/staff were so nice and helpful! Highly recommended!
