BBQ Hostel Ha Long 2, hotel in Ha Long

BBQ Hostel Ha Long 2 features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Ha Long. This 3-star hostel offers room service and a tour desk.

I came to Ha Long after the century storm Yagi. Everything was almost destroyed. Even though the people here are concentrating on fixing it with high intensity, they are still very welcoming, open-minded, and I even had some interesting experiences here. The hostel was heavily damaged but what I saw was that my room was really clean, fragrant. They had super cool AC. Sadly, the swimming pool was being repaired so I couldn't experience it yet. But next time coming back here, I will definitely try. Highly recommend for everyone, anyone especially travelers.

Catba Buffalo Hostel, hotel in Ha Long

Located in Cat Ba, 2.8 km from Tung Thu Beach, Catba Buffalo Hostel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar.

A lot of free things: desert, beer, breakfast, pub crawl - this was great. The room was big and there was a TV with Netflix in the room. Also, it was great to have a swimming pool. The hostel provides cheap services (90k for a scooter, 40k/kg of laundry service, cheap transfers and tours!) Given the price of the stay, the breakfast was great with pancakes, eggs, fruits and Asian food. The staff was nice, kind and flexible.

1. How awesome the staff is! They are helpful and friendly. 2. The breakfast buffet is out of expectations (compared to the dorm price) 3. The room is neat and clean 4. I've already booked other type of room here to stay with my partner (the room with city view) it's also amazing.

Very cool aesthetic tucked away in the jungle, bamboo and thatch roof dorms/tents for a camping in nature feel. Staff super friendly and helpful. Laundry/bike rental nearby they will drop you to. Also had the coolest common room guitar I've ever come across.

Nice hostel in a great location. I booked it for the swimming pool but it was closed after 9 pm. So if you're late checking in you might consider other options. But the room, the breakfast and all other staff was quite good. The administrator helped me a lot, he was very friendly and kind.

Such a good hostel! Nice common room, staff were lovely and food / drink was really nice for the price. We booked the Ha Giang Loop through this hostel and it was AMAZING!! Sleeper bus to Ha Giang from Ha Long was included in the price. The company they use for the Ha Giang Loop is Safari Hostel and we would recommend this to anyone! The best trip we’ve had so far in SE Asia. The price for the Ha Giang Loop here is way cheaper than Jasmine, Mama’s etc and is way more enjoyable due to smaller groups.

I will recommend it to my friends if they visit Halong, one of the best hostels ever, with two bathrooms and a Balcony. also, there is a sofa in the middle, big enough for all, also the hostel offers nice food at a good price :) The staff are super helpful, with good English and they helped to book bus tickets, appreciate a lot

Best hostel I've had in my time in Vietnam. Social and clean. Very helpful staffs. They arranged party cruise for us. It was super fun. There was a pool table downstair with cheapest beer in Vietnam 17.000 for whole bottle.

Great location. Although not so close to the beach - it is still within some walking distance but the neighbourhood is quiet, safe, short distance to restaurants and the cable car. Due to the low season our room was upgraded to a better view - full sea view (and the cable car). The hotel is new, tidy, staff are helpful. Breakfast is not super great to our taste, but you won't go away hungry, even got pho in the menu. Some nice coffee shops are also around.

The staff could not have been more helpful. The food was consistently good and cheap also. Beds comfy and big locker with a good atmosphere in the common area. Honestly the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. When I’m back in Ha Long I will 100% stay here again.
