Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

It felt like I walked into my own home. Easily the coziest hostel I have ever stayed at. Billie and Art were warm and welcoming, it felt like I had known them my whole life. The entire property was very well kept and clean. The yard was beautiful, we played board games out there for hours. I cannot stress enough that this place just feels like home. It will be the only place I stay when traveling through Fairbanks.

I really liked the decoration of the place, the people I could talk to in the hostel were very nice, you also have access to coffee in the kitchen and I found it comfortable.

The location is nice! Fairbanks is a city where you need a car to get most places, but the hostel is right by the farmers market and some coffee shops, which is a huge plus!

Cute little outdoor campsite/tent hostel. Sven welcomed me at the door, gave me a tour and explained how to use the propane heater overnight. I was worried I would be cold but Sven provided me with an additional blanket so I was very warm. The (paid in quarters) hot shower was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised to see a hairdryer and hair straightener in the women’s bathroom. The kitchen was clean and the wifi connection worked at a good speed.

Billie's Backpackers Hostel is really dainty. I like how unique it is. It is like a home away from home. I like how the place was creatively designed. Billie is very flexible and accommodating. She responds with sufficient details.
